Our story
Born inside a hospitality group, not a pitch deck.
- 01 · Origin
Polu Systems is the software division of Polu Hospitality Group. Before we wrote a line of software, we ran resorts and condominium associations on the Kohala Coast.
- 02 · Built for the floor
We build because we operate. Off-the-shelf systems didn't do what our properties actually needed, so we built our own: owner statements that reconcile themselves, housekeeping boards the team actually uses, fee processing that keeps associations compliant. Every tool was shaped with boots on the ground.
- 03 · Today
Today those products handle reservations, statements, maintenance, and payments, built for resorts, condominium associations, and independent owners who need the same.
Why Hawaiʻi
Hospitality here is a practice, not a department.
Hawaiʻi has been welcoming travelers for centuries, long before software, long before hotels. Building here means inheriting that standard. It also means dealing with the specifics: island supply chains, county-by-county rental rules, properties where the general manager is also the maintenance chief.
Software made for that reality tends to be simpler, tougher, and kinder to the people using it. That's the kind we make.
